Briefed Account and Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your Briefed account and associated app data by emailing the developer.
Send your request to imbinay12@gmail.com.
Please email from the address linked to your Briefed account, or include your Briefed account email so the account can be identified.
How to Request Deletion
- Open your email app.
- Send an email to imbinay12@gmail.com with the subject "Briefed account and data deletion request".
- Include the email address used for your Briefed account. Do not include your password.
Data Deleted
After verification, the following data associated with your Briefed account may be deleted from active app systems:
- Firebase Authentication account details.
- Cloud Firestore user profile data.
- Synced quiz scores, streaks, selected categories, notification preferences, and quiz history.
- Leaderboard entries associated with your account.
Data That May Be Retained
Some information may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, purchase verification, or platform records. Data processed by Google Play, AdMob, Firebase, or other third-party services may also be retained under those providers' policies.
Local Device Data
Data stored only on your device can be removed by signing out, using any available in-app reset option, clearing the app's storage in your device settings, or uninstalling the app.
Timing
Deletion requests are reviewed and processed within a reasonable period after the account is verified. You may receive a confirmation email when the request is complete.
